Threat of Harm Policy

We take harassment, violence, and any threats of violence very seriously and will not tolerate them at our events or in our community.

Harassment

Any unwanted behavior toward a person that causes mental or emotional suffering. This includes repeated unwanted contact without a reasonable purpose, insults, threats, touching, or offensive language.

Violence

The use of physical force to injure, abuse, damage, or destroy.

Threat of violence

A declaration of intent to inflict harm or danger on the community or any person.

This policy includes, but is not limited to, discrimination or harassment based on actual or perceived gender—including gender identity or expression—race, color, religion, national origin, age, sexual orientation, or physical, mental, or sensory disability.

If you experience or observe behavior you believe is discriminatory, harassing, or violent at our events or involving a member of our community, report it in whatever way feels most comfortable. Options include the official form, speaking to us in person, email, or social media. The official form also allows anonymous reports.

All submitted reports are taken extremely seriously and sent to Dodgeball Seattle Board members for review. When contact information is provided, the Board will reach out to the reporter as soon as possible.
